Tim Nichols is a veteran of the Texas music scene who is passionate about singing, playing the guitar and writing good music. Tim has fronted several successful bands over the years including Bandera, "Tim Nichols and Common Cents", and Derringer. Tim has recorded both in Texas and in Nashville where we worked both as a demo singer and as a staff songwriter for Island Bound Music/EMI Nashville. Tim has shared the stage with such acts as Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Merle Haggard, Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager among others. Tim has co-written songs with such legends as Eddie Rabbit and Steve Wariner. And regularly writes songs with Texas songwriters and long time friends Jason Allen and Jody Booth. Tim is currently playing around Texas with Ken Reynolds as the "Semi Acoustic Duo" and is recording a solo 11 song CD for the Texas market with Grammy winning producer Randy Miller that is cited for release in early July. |
